Space Shooter
Blast through numbered enemy waves, grab power-ups and take down the mothership every fifth wave.
Space shooters are the backbone of arcade gaming: you pilot a small craft, enemies arrive in patterns, and you survive by shooting first and moving second. Our shooters keep that core loop but give each game its own shape, from a scrolling vertical battle to a planet you defend from every direction.
No games match these filters. Try another difficulty or control type, or reset the filters.
Blast through numbered enemy waves, grab power-ups and take down the mothership every fifth wave.
Orbit your home planet and shoot down drones, darts, splitters and bombers before they break its shield.
Stay alive in a deep-space arena as asteroids and drones close in. Your ship fires automatically.
Hold the line with a ground cannon as swaying alien formations step down and dive at you.
Every game here runs directly in the browser with keyboard or touch controls. Enemy types are designed to teach you something: some fly straight at you, some weave, some shoot back and some soak up several hits. Learning which to target first is the main skill in every shooter on this page.
Space Shooter is the most classic of the group: free movement, hold-to-fire and power-ups. Alien Attack is simpler to control because the cannon only moves left and right. Galaxy Defender is the most different because you orbit a planet and shoot outward.
No. In Space Shooter and Galaxy Defender you can hold Space or the FIRE button to keep firing. Alien Attack limits you to two shots on screen at once, so timing matters more than holding the button.
Yes. On touch screens a control pad appears below the game with a joystick or direction buttons and a FIRE button, so your thumbs never cover the action.
