Space Game Categories

Our games are grouped into eight categories based on what you actually do while playing. A game can appear in several categories: Galaxy Defender, for example, is both a planet game and a shooter.

Space Shooter Games

Blast enemy waves, dodge return fire and collect power-ups.

Open category →

Space shooters are the backbone of arcade gaming: you pilot a small craft, enemies arrive in patterns, and you survive by shooting first and moving second. Our shooters keep that core loop but give each game its own shape, from a scrolling vertical battle to a planet you defend from every direction.

Games: Space Shooter, Galaxy Defender, Space Survival, Alien Attack.

Space Flying Games

Pilot ships and rockets through open space and tight courses.

Open category →

Flying games are about movement first. Instead of fighting everything on screen, you read the space ahead, pick a line and keep your craft out of trouble. Some of our flying games give you full eight-way control, others only let you steer sideways while the world scrolls past.

Games: Asteroid Dodge, Rocket Rush, Gravity Orbit, Star Collector, Alien Escape, Daily Space Challenge.

Asteroid Games

Dodge, survive and mine your way through rocky fields.

Open category →

Asteroids are the most flexible hazard in space arcade games. They can be obstacles you avoid, targets you break or resources you mine. This category collects every game on the site where rocks are central to the gameplay.

Games: Asteroid Dodge, Rocket Rush, Space Survival, Meteor Escape, Space Miner, Daily Space Challenge.

Space Survival Games

Last as long as you can as the danger keeps rising.

Open category →

Survival games turn time into the score. There is no final level to reach; the game keeps adding pressure until something gets through. That makes them honest tests of consistency: a single careless moment ends the run, and a calm, steady approach beats flashy play.

Games: Space Shooter, Space Survival, Cosmic Runner, Meteor Escape, Alien Escape.

Space Exploration Games

Travel between worlds, mine resources and chart new routes.

Open category →

Exploration games reward curiosity and planning. Instead of only reacting, you decide where to go next, how to spend limited fuel or attempts, and which route gives the best reward for the risk.

Games: Planet Hopper, Cosmic Runner, Gravity Orbit, Space Miner, Star Collector.

Rocket Games

Launch, climb and land rockets with thrust and fuel.

Open category →

Rocket games are about thrust and restraint. Burning fuel gets you where you want to go, but every burn has a cost, and the hardest moments are usually when you need to slow down rather than speed up.

Games: Rocket Rush, Gravity Orbit, Rocket Landing, Daily Space Challenge.

Planet Games

Defend worlds, hop between orbits and land on moons.

Open category →

Planets change how a space game plays. A planet can be a base to protect, a platform to launch from, a gravity well that bends your path or a surface you have to land on. This category collects every game on the site built around worlds and orbits.

Games: Galaxy Defender, Planet Hopper, Gravity Orbit, Rocket Landing.

Alien Arcade Games

Face formations, patrols and invasions of original aliens.

Open category →

Aliens give arcade games personality. Their movement patterns tell you what they are about to do: formations sway and step down, divers peel off to attack, and patrol drones sweep detection cones you must slip past.

Games: Space Shooter, Galaxy Defender, Alien Attack, Alien Escape.
